Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of Course A media production resources offered through mediarixki. The resources include detailed guidance on studio setup, camera operation, lighting balance, audio checks, and smooth workflows for news and video content. It covers both one-time access purchases and any recurring access options where available. The policy governs transactions made by customers located in the United Kingdom and explains how payments are handled, when contracts are formed, and the circumstances under which refunds may be granted.

Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). The listed price includes value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. No additional charges apply for standard digital delivery. Customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees imposed by their payment provider or bank. mediarixki reserves the right to adjust prices for future purchases, but changes will not affect confirmed orders.

Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security

We accept major credit and debit cards processed through secure third-party gateways. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon order submission. All transactions are protected by industry-standard encryption and comply with UK GDPR and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. mediarixki does not store full card details. Authorisation may be declined if the card issuer identifies a risk; in such cases the order will not be processed.

Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed

A contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email from mediarixki following successful payment. This email confirms the details of your purchase of Course A resources and provides access instructions. Until this confirmation is issued, no binding agreement exists. You should retain the confirmation for your records.

Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods

Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel for a full refund, provided you have not begun accessing the digital content. Once you start downloading or streaming the material, the right to cancel is lost. To exercise this right you must notify us within the period using the contact details below.

Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services

Refunds are available only within the cooling-off period or where the resource is demonstrably faulty. Access that has already commenced, promotional bundles, or customised training materials are non-refundable. Services such as live workflow consultations are excluded once scheduled. Faulty content must be reported within 30 days of purchase.

The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, the date of purchase, and a clear statement of the reason. Include any supporting evidence if claiming a fault. Requests must be made from the email address used for the original purchase. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days.

Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision

Each request is reviewed within ten working days. You will receive written notification of approval or rejection via email. If rejected, the reasons will be explained together with any available alternatives such as a replacement resource.

Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, though your bank may require additional time to credit the amount. You will be notified once the refund has been processed.

Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant

Digital content is supplied immediately upon payment, so the 14-day cancellation right ends as soon as access begins. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to the same cooling-off rules but may carry additional terms stated at the time of purchase.

Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud

Failed payments will result in the order being cancelled automatically. Duplicate charges should be reported immediately to [email protected]. Chargebacks are investigated and may lead to restricted future access. Suspected fraudulent activity will be referred to the appropriate authorities in line with UK law.

Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or UK GDPR. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract. If any term conflicts with mandatory law, the statutory provision prevails.
