About Us

A media production resource built by production people

mediarixki was founded to close the gap between production theory and what actually happens on a busy studio floor during a live news bulletin or a demanding video shoot.

Our story

mediarixki started as a set of internal checklists used by a small regional news studio to keep its camera, lighting and audio setup consistent across shifts. As more teams asked to borrow those checklists, we turned them into a full resource covering studio setup, camera operation, lighting balance, audio checks and the workflows that hold a production together.

Today we work with studios and video production teams across the UK, offering hands-on training, workflow audits and equipment guidance grounded in what actually happens under broadcast deadlines.

What guides our approach

Practical over theoretical

Every method we teach has been tested on live studio floors and real deadlines, not classrooms.

Built for UK broadcast standards

Our workflows and delivery specs are aligned with the requirements UK news and video outlets expect.

Equipment-agnostic guidance

We work across camera, lighting and audio brands so advice fits the kit you already own.
